My dad was my best friend my hero and the complete inspiration as to why i do karaoke's and sing today. He was a sailor all his life aka (sinbad)by his work mates and loved his job as chief engineer on the tees tugs, loved his family and his friends , enjoyed to socialise and was a member of all the social clubs around the boro.
He was a broken man after the loss of his wife ( my stepmum ) letty just a few short months before he died himself , she died of cancer october the 24th in 1994 and i was there all the time to help out she was like a mother to me and it broke my heart to see my big strong dad wether away into depression although he did try is hardest to carry on it was obvious in the january following her death that he couldnt fight his broken heart no more, i was glad to be by his side when he passed away i found him collapsed in the street near his home , it has never stopped hurting me but i hope over the years i have done him some proud , he died too soon aged 57 and i will miss him terribly till i meet him again , he loved his music absolutely worshipped it , to me he was the best friend and best dad ever in the whole wide world and i could go on forever talking about him but even after all this time im finding myself filling up with tears so i will leave it here and hope he can see this memorial for him , goodnight godbless dad your eternally broken hearted daughter , Chrissy-lou. xxxxx
in memoriam of the day i lost you
i lost you 17 years ago on this day dad , it was a sunday also , i found you in the street at quarter to three on that sunday afternoon 17 years ago in 1995 , it really feels like minutes ago , i see it everyday in my mind , so much has changed since you left us dad , i guess thats what they call life going on , but a massive part of me died with you and cant go on , what i have left i have pledged to your memory dad and if that is wrong then i do not want to be right , i miss you and love you eternally , my best friend , my hero , my dad . i will never forget THE WONDER OF YOU !!!

16 years to this day but feels like 16 minutes ago still
the pain i have felt since the day you left us will never ease Dad ,
i miss you so much , you are a great grandad now dad , our jason had a son , Mckenzie Jay born on 10/10/10 , he is gorgeous and i think he is gunna take after us for singing cos he has an amazing set of lungs on him dad , , watch over us always , your always in our hearts , i love you and i always will xxx
